Our Company's mission is to reduce hospital costs by lowering post-acute patient readmission rates. We do this by monitoring these patient's health in their home using medical-grade, self-charging wearable tech, mobile apps, and cloud software, such that physicians can monitor their patient's health in real time.
INVIZA® Health's Founders are no mere tech gurus but bona fide wizards of sensor and energy harvester design. They've uncovered a shocking truth: the wearable health and fitness trackers in today's market are, to put it mildly, seriously flawed and can be highly inaccurate. As a Stanford University research study revealed, the Top 7 smartwatches calculate burned calories with a woeful inaccuracy rate of 27-93% (smart bands and smart rings can be no better). And that's not all. Step counting is way off too, with the wearable tracker often perched on an arm or hand, compromising accuracy. Vital signs are no exception, optical and contact sensors cannot maintain a closed environment (e.g. a gap between a smartwatch's and smart ring's optical sensors and the wrist if the wearer likes to wear them loose), which cause inaccuracies in the measured values for heart rate, blood oxygen saturation "SpO2", and body temperature.
Furthermore, typical Hospital-at-Home (HaH) / RPM and DTx devices have to be plugged into an AC power outlet, are not mobile, and can be quite expensive. The patient's data is not always transmitted via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, and never via LTE cellular outside the hospital or home. Health data then has to be entered manually by the patient. Errors in typing can occur and the data might not be entered immediately. This leads to patient compliance issues too, where data isn't taken or even if taken it may be forgotten to be entered.
But INVIZA's Founders refuse to stand idly by and watch people's health suffer due to inaccurate wearables and AC powered, non-timely RPM and DTx devices. With a mission to offer highly medical-grade, self-charging, wearable RPM and DTx devices at an affordable price; INVIZA® Health is here to save the day!
Driven by the heart-wrenching stories of friends, colleagues, and family members who have suffered or lost their lives to illnesses, INVIZA's team has poured their hearts and souls into creating wearable technology that's not just reliable but convenient too. Their wearable RPM and DTx insoles contain medical-grade, non-invasive optical sensors, measure movement data, connect via both Bluetooth and LTE-cellular communications, and they harness the energy from a user's steps. The latter ensures that the patients walk more, because they do not have to worry about recharging their smart insoles the more steps they take. That's a huge win-win for the patient's health and engagement to ensure compliance and accuracy of the data for physicians monitoring them at home.
Their first product, INVIZA® Sole 1.0, is a smart insole that takes health monitoring to the next level. Thanks to the insole's enclosed design, the optical sensors that measure vital signs remain at a constant temperature and are shielded from external light sources, which makes them extremely accurate and precise. Oh, did we mention the optical sensor's light can even penetrate through a patient's socks?! The INVIZA® Sole 1.0 smart insoles are a complete game-changer, offering precise HaH / RPM and DTX tracking in a convenient package.
INVIZA® will help patients stay on target and not be readmitted to the hospital post discharge.
